It should be obvious to all by now that it is impossible for the human race to exist in harmony with nature. Modern man will continue to rape the seas, burn the forests, pollute the air, water and earth and by these actions cause the extinction of species after species unique to this planet. The 'Green' movements attempts to halt this process, although commendable, are futile. Do they even realise the comical paradoxical nature of their existence as they drive to the latest demo in their SUV? Man was a mistake. We are nothing more than mutated chimps who have vastly over estimated our own importance and intelligence. A truly intelligent species would not actively destroy the environment it depended on for survival. There is only one logical step to take. In order to save the Earth biosphere the human species must be eradicated. Thankfully, Man in his infinite wisdom, has created enough WMD's to kill every man, woman and child 100 times over and its only a matter of time before a 'Strangelove' scenario occurs or is purposely triggered. Everything points to 2012 being the year this will happen. Nature existed for millions of years before man and will exist for millions of years after man. And one glorious day the sun will rise over an Earth that is a green cathedral of life and the only sign that we were ever here will be the radioactive dust from our depleted uranium anti-tank shells blowing in the wind. [Half life - 4.5 billion years] “You Maniacs! You blew it up. Ah, damn you, God damn you all to hell.”
So we have to die from this unsustainable system, or else were un-american. It was condemning industrialization in general. I'm sure leaders in the USSR would have taken offense at it as well.
Well, you don't have to be apart of the maisntream. Research permaculture, sustainable housing, rainwater collecting, etc etc. There are people who are living lifestyles that aren't only environmentally neutral but actually replenish the environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gPvsl9ni-4&feature=related"]Permaculture - Greening the Desert Final (2009).mp4 - YouTube A member sent me this video in another thread. Its worth a watch. There's a good side and a bad side to everything, and human society has just manifested in a way that's disharmonious to nature. I'd suggest researching a bit on aboriginal cultures too. There's a good book I'm reading, called the cosmic serpent, that explains how shamanistic cultures communicate directly with nature to live in congruence with it. If you want to be a part of the solution, start really doing some things, to lead a good example. Even if we do kill ourselves off, its better to do things the right way, at least so your conscience will be clear in the end in that you knew you tried.
Many dead birds fall from sky onto I-95 the other day www.washingtonpost.com/2012/02/16/gIQADQIgHR_blog.html Something serious is going on!
