erection problem

    ok so im 22 and have recently started having sex with my girlfriend.
    We both have a very high sex drive at the moment and dont normally go for more than a day without having sex.
    Before we started having sex i was masturbating maybe 7 - 9 times a week and i never had any problems getting and/or maintaining an erection for the duration of my session, however now that i am having sex i sometimes find it very difficult to keep my penis hard.
    most of the time i dont have a problem getting it up initially but if its not being stimulated constantly it sometimes just goes down.
    For example we might be having sex on the bed and decide to move onto a chair, then in the time it takes us to move to the chair my penis has become to soft too be usable. Im sure you can imagine how frustrating this is for the 2 of us.
    when this happens she usually just stimulates it with her hands and mouth and it usually comes back up and we can continue, however sometimes i just cant get hard again and we are forced to finish up early.

    At first i thought this was just due to tiredness (as i am not used to putting in the energy and time that sex requires), but even after a few days rest i still find i have this problem.
    sometimes it is worse than other and sometimes it doesn't happen at all.

    Anyone have/had a similar problem and/or have any advice that might help my situation?

    Keep it on the boil when not penetrated by gently masturbating it, as well as focussing strong thoughts on what is about to happen - mental stimulation can be stronger than physical stimulation.

    It sounds to me that maybe you're concentrating too much? I would just focus on enjoying on what's happening in the moment and look forward to what is around the corner.

    Maybe you like men, ask her if you can have sex with her brother or dad to be sure.

    Are you taking any type medication?? Hypertension meds? Do you have diabetes? There are 100's of things it could be as well as over masturbation. You can be worrying about this and CAUSE it to happen as well! IF you continue to have this then I suggest a talk with your urologist or other physician....hope this helps. Tee

    I've had and more or less continue to have the same problem and I'm trying Zinc supplements and cutting down on masturbation. I find the mental stimulation does work well and just keeping focused on the feeling on your penis which is nulled during protected sex however it's still there. I know it can be frustrating if you turn to mush and maybe pull to far out and can't re-penetrate straight away but my advice is just don't let it get to you! Give your girlfriend a good sex experience, don't be too selfish or unselfish and try to enjoy it yourself! it's sex things go wrong :p.

    Also as I've just said you're not the only guy that this happens to, and I think if it really gets to your gf then thats more on her than you because sex can always get better. If your relationship is anything like mine if you don't treat it as a big deal she probably won't either. Best of luck ;)

    Stay away from high fat foods. Erection strength and duration have a strong connection to a healthy heart and blood circulatory system.

    (Eat brocolli, apples, blueberries, almonds, a bit of dark chocolate, avacados)

    Stay away from excess masturbation, and limit treats of pizza and ice cream to twice a month.

    I've also found that if your body is too used to high levels of caffeine, it'll work against you too.

    Do cardiovascular (brisk walk) for a minimum of 120min. a day as well. (Walking, swimming etc.)

    Also go cold Turkey on any hot porn you have gotten addicted too.

    I've also found that meditation can help too in conjuction with mental stimulation.
