how to make something water soluable

    does anyone know how to make crude morphine/morphine base water soluable it has a brown color to it but wont seem to mix with water

    I thought it was water soluble. Anyway, I've heard that it's solubility in water actually decreases with temperature, for some reason. And maybe you could try ethyl alcohol, it might be soluble in that.

    If it is raw morphine you will need an acid to make it water soluble. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is the easiest to acquire but Hydrochloric or Sulfuric Acid would work too. I'm pretty sure you mix your acid with your base with a little water and just apply gently heat. Like you were preparing heroin for injection.

    I'm not 100% sure and you should consult another source before you attempt this! I don't want you to hurt yourself!

    Try mixing 1 part lemon juice to 3 parts water and add the morphine and shake for a little while. The acid should dissolve the base. Then drink the liquid.
