I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and i came inside her. i brought birth control pills "yasmin" and she took 2 pills directly after having sex. 3 days later she told me that she threw up. shes takin her pills at night 12 o'clock. Question is is this normal? is it side effect? should i've waited for 1 week before cumming inside her? Thank you.
Uhh...yeah, what Lovely said. Regular birth control is not the same as the morning after pill. This is why birth control needs a prescription (don't know how you got your hands on some to bring over...) so people can be correctly educated on how to use it. Do not do this again. She's throwing up likely because her body is getting used to the elevated estrogen levels, and estrogen can make you nauseated. It doesn't mean she's pregnant, although she could be. But the nausea from that wouldn't come this soon. Does she know where she was in her cycle before you had sex? Also, you shouldn't take the pill if there's a chance you could be pregnant.
Why did she take 2 pills? And after sex? She is supposed to use the pill one month before skipping other anti-contraceptive methods and keep taking it every month, one pill a day, at a regular time. The birth control pill is not supposed to be used as if it were the morning after pill. It does not work that way. It´s advisable for both of you to start reading the piece of paper that comes with each box of medication you take. Or ask a doctor if you have any doubts.
I don't get it. 1) Prescription birth control pills: taken regularly. 2) Morning after pill. What did you get her? If it's morning after pill, you MAY be OK.
if she used the morning after pill within 48 hours of having unprotected sex then she will be fine, if its just the regular pill it wont stop hr getting pregnant until it has been inside her for at least 7 days thats why docs tell u to use protection for the first 7 days if starting it whilst not on your period, if she took it from the first day of her period she would be protected immediately , get her tested the chance of pregnancy really isnt as high as u would think women are only fertile for 3 consecutive days a month, ask her when she last had her period and let me know also ask her how long her cycles usually are then work out how many days from her last period it was that u had sex let me know and i can tell u if the chance is high or not, i work in fertility so can help u out there
