Hello all! I have to ask you Californians a questions, should I move to California? I mean a while ago my brother and I decided we are going to California, We live in Saskatchewan, Canada and we cant wait to get out of here. So I guess the question is, will it be worth it. I will have to fill out papers and get a passport to get across and on top of that I will be leaving alot of family here in Canada. So if you want, list some advantages and disadvantages about living in California and where you would suggest living in California! thanks all!:sunny:
Never ben = UK based though I'm sure it'll be FINE Good Luck in your travels [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IZ-jATBq9A
no. read through some of the other threads in this section. california is broke. so if you don't have money or a job already, it's gonna be pretty hard. but if it's just for the adventure of it.. go for it.
Haha well im suprised to hear that, well where would everyone suggest moving to? I love the sound of New Zealand, but im a musician and I want to make a career out of my music. Is there a good music industry for artists in New Zealand? and thanks for the reply's guys!
Ok, well as I was reading through other threads I got the impression people like Northern California more, but is Northern California still not the place to be? and im talkin about a place to live and adventure i guess.
it is an exellent place to live and adventure. Like most places in the western world.. porbably wont make much money ether US is going through lots of shit atm, but so is the world. If you are good and dealing with the very little that you may receive. Then I believe you may find to love california... the winter is not so inviting but at least you will not find much snow unless at higher elevations
agree with previous posters. california is broken. taxes are high, state funding is low.. and i haven't even brought up the high cost of living.
i plan on moving to santa cruz in the summer just to get some adventure and a change of scenery but thats only because i have family out there and a sure job in the carpenters union, taxes are insanely high and i wouldnt recommend going on a whim, get in touch though cuz ur welcome to hitch a ride if you can get to chicago lol just like back in the 60's
Thanks bud, might have to take you up on the offer, Except im not goin anywhere till I finish my schooling.
