I`m not a girl, but I can tell you one thing: girls who watch porn are a huuuge turn on (yes, mainstream porn) to me. :biggrin:

 

A lot of girls I know get mad if they catch their boyfriend watching porn. I sometimes watch it with mine so that to me is sexy. Everyone masturbates (or at least most people) so that too is not a big deal.

I have no issues with my boyfriend masturbating, and in most instances porn is ok too. But when porn becomes more exciting (or is at least perceived as such) than the real thing, then it becomes an issue. I had a guy once who had problems getting it up and to prove it wasnt me he'd say "even porn doesn't do it for me!" It's like what do you mean even? You're more turned on by something on a screen than me in doggy? I dont like the mentality that porn is sex holygrail.

 

I love to masturbate, and can't understand why anyone would have a problem with it.

While I'm not offended by mainstream porn, I find it to be repetitious and boring. Amateur porn is often more creative and comes across as more real.

I find it a lot more interesting to watch people have sex if I know at least one of them personally.

Some women seem to be bothered by the idea of their husbands or boyfriends watching porn and fantasizing about fucking other women, but I accept the fact that this is a natural interest that they have. At least it isn't resulting in STD's or accidental pregnancies. I think it's totally harmless, unless the guy gets unrealistic expectations in his head about what sex is supposed to be.

 

After spending my very early adult life as a sexually-repressed, egocentric and overemotional control freak and coming out the other side of a failed marriage, I decided to walk a more realistic path. I now take upkeeping a liberal and respectful attitude very seriously, though even now it sometimes takes effort and vigilance because I am female and, more importantly, human.

Yet you have to do it. In a relationship you never own any part of the other person's body or their mind, especially not such visceral thoughts. You have to accept them for what they are and simply be open to sharing, respecting and enjoying them in trust. The more you complain or nag or let insecurity cloud over your common sense, the further you will push him away. He's just a person. You wouldn't tell him when he can wipe his arse or scratch his back. Objection to masturbation discounts basic human rights and operates under false assumptions.

Objecting to sneaking around or hiding things or choosing porn over your relationship are different matters. Hopefully if you're clearly an open-minded sort that wont be happening anyway. Who knows, you might even have a shared interest.

 

I never thought to watch porn whenever I was involved with somebody.
