Hello! My name is Anjelica and I'm 18 years old. I am from good ole' PA...Anyways I am so very happy to have found this forum because I feel like I belong here. I am a lesbian who recently came out in August, and my family is all accepting! They said they knew from when I was little haha. I have been in a relationship for 5 months with a 24 year old woman named Cassie, and I am madly in love with her. She gives me feelings that I have never had for anyone before. All I want to do is make her happy and be the best I can. Sadly she lives in Texas :( I met her over the summer but she had to go back...not a day goes by where I dont think about her or talk to her. It is really hard for me since we are far away from each other. There are nights where I cry myself to sleep because I just long for her to be by my side. Just to be able to hold her hand, hug her, and kiss her...just show her that she means the world to me! I love her so much and I never want to lose her. Some say its puppylove but I truly care for her and cannot see myself with any other woman. I want to have a family and grow old with her. I send her little poems, hearts, gifts all the time to show her I care and I tell her how beautiful she is everyday...I just wish I could do more for her. It's so hard and I hope to see her soon because my biggest fear is losing her to another woman who is closer :(

I fear that too with my girlfriend, but all I can say is that if you two were meant to be together that you wouldn't have to worry about that. If she feels strongly about you like you feel for her everything will work out in the long run.

As long you and her are committed everything is fine. And MAKE SURE you both have strong communication with each other, whether it is through email, Skype, IM, etc . Communication and understanding/honesty is the key to a successful relationship whether long distance or not.

Stuff what some people say ... it sounds like love to me.

Whether it lasts, though, is up to the two of you. You gotta work at it when a relationship is over a long distance; but if you love one another the way you say you do, then that shouldn't be impossible for you.

    Big hug from me, hun.:daisy:
