Hello, I posted something similar to this in the French-language forum but I thought that I'd better post it here as well: I'm in my last year of gymnasiet and will graduate this spring. A friend of mine and I are thinking of going to France to study French. Now I'm wondering if you guys have any recommendations for places to go? I know barely nothing about French geography or places that are nice. Thanks in advance. P.S. If there are any 'old' hipforum-members out here: Hello guys! Don't know if you remember me, I've been gone for a year or so. And I was not here often before that either...
depends on what u're lookin for exactly, but if u like nature i recommend Bretagne (i.e. Brittany), and if u like the city i recommend Paris. obviously. also, a city with a nice weather, the beach not far and a great night life is Bordeaux...
What was your old username? Anyways, I agree with Crayola, and another gorgeous city, is Toulouse! It's very young and dynamic! And Nantes, who's near teh sea!
Thanks for your answers. I love nature (I don't want to be trapped in a big city) and culture so anything near that would be nice. Though my friend wants it to be in the south of France (she's tired of the cold ). I've been thinking about Toulouse actually. Any more suggestions are very welcome. moonydancer, my old username is the same as now (thought I'd keep it).
Hejsan blomman! Välkommen tillbaka! I remember you being here ages ago yeah, am not sure if you remember me being around but anyway, as I said, welcome back! ~lovetulip.
