movies and how they affect dreams (interesting dream)...

last night i had one of the most memorable dreams i've ever had before, mainly because much of it was just like a scene out of a movie i had seen recently. but i could remember everything that happened in the dream, even though it had nothing to do with the movie...

ok, i saw dawn of the dead (2004) a few days ago, i own it actually so i've seen it multiple times. it's one of my favorite zombie movies. anyway, some of you know how the plot goes, others don't... it's pretty much like there's this "virus" that spreads by biting victims, and the "virus" turns them all turn into zombies. the movie pretty much places them in a mall and they have to try to find out how to esacpe. my dream went a little like this...

i woke up, at home in philly, and it was birthday time... my mom gave me some cash to go to the mall to get some things for myself... but suddenly there were reports of a quickly spreading virus in the country and everyone should return to their homes. as these news reports came in, i heard screams from inside the mall, and people started running. so (in the dream) i went into the gaming store to grab an x-box, halo 2, and a few other games that i liked... (yes, i even remembered what i stole). i also remember gathering enough canned goods to last a good while, stuffing them into the bag. then, running like everyone else, i managed to escape the mall, drive back home, and lock myself in.

as i drove home i remember seeing people getting eaten, blood all over the streets, and chaos ensuing everywhere. i guess since there were so many people in the city, the virus just spread like wildfire. i got home safely, and luckily (unlike real life) we had iron bars on our windows, so the zombies weren't able to get in our door... then as i slowly woke up from this dream, it was strange because in real life i thought i heard zombie moans, which just happened to be my roomate's cappucino machine brewing...

thank goodness that wasn't real life. it was so real to me i woke up in a sweat, and halfway off of my bed. this was one of the more interesting dreams i could remember because it was so vivid, i felt like i was alive in it. there was so much action and things going on, so many details, that i thought it was real life, and i couldn't separate the two...

just thought i would mention that to you guys.

 

Jesus man, thats pretty heavy!!!!!! One of the worst dreams ive had was based on that kind of thing, only thing was i woke screaming and had a nose bleed!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! WAS IT REAL? Like yours man it was so vivid i could've sworn i was there man,See ya man, take care...........
