Haley has run away and her dad and friends are looking for her. She is 17. They say she's heading for Bisbee, Az or Arcata, Ca. If you have any info contact: thutcheson07@yahoo.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVIPQUmaDS4"]Haley - YouTube
jesus christ ...that was hard to watch and beautiful at the same time..the dude is in so much pain...i will certainly do what i can...i am sending this link to several friends in the usa i dont pray very often but i will say a prayer for this
Haley is from where I am from. Thank you so much for posting, Skip. I don't know her personally, but it hits really close to home since she is from here. Only one news station is even reporting this and as far as I know there are no Amber Alerts or anything. The only way we can get this out is through websites and social networking. Repost this everywhere! The maps they found indicate she could be Arizona or California bound. She left almost a week ago, so chances are good she's not in our area anymore.
tears are streaming down my face after watching this, soo sad and heartfelt, i hope she calls her family.
Bisbee AZ is a old mining town , it is close to the border . It is small and not like a big city like L.A. or N.Y.C. It would be my guess she knows some one there , school ,or from the net , ect. You might talk to the local police or the Cochise county p.d. I hope you work things out . desert rat
Hear is a phone number I got off the net for the Bisbee police 520-432-2261. To go to a small town like that she must know some one that lives there . desert rat
Kids think they know how much they are loved but sometimes they never really understand. Shared and praying he finds Haley safe.
Here is a news story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-video-track-daughter.html?ito=feeds-newsxml and another video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKCmuF7_ayY"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKCmuF7_ayY
I used to live in Bisbee. It's so close to Mexico you can see it from there. I hope she didn't go to Mexico. Things aren't so good in northern Mexico these days. I called that number and they said they are looking for her.
1/3/2012: Haley Wilson's father, Ray Wilson, reported: "Big news! Carlsbad, CA PD pulled over Haley and I talked to her and am flying out to San Diego - Please RT & Repost! #FOUNDhaley."
Yea! Glad to hear it... Everyone does realize she is 17 years old, right? When I was 16 I was already on my own (in college), so I don't really see what the big deal was....other than an upset dad. But nevertheless, I was asked to post this up, so I did. Personally I'd rather save the big searches for younger kids who may be in trouble. This was way over the top, dramawise...
17 is a legal adult in Texas, so I'm honestly wondering what legal footing her dad has in all of this. I'm glad that they found her and got her back in touch with her dad, the video broke my heart, but I've had a few days to think it over and hope that maybe this will open some communication between Haley and her father. Hopefully if she is ready to break off and be on her own, they can come to a reasonable compromise. Most 17 year olds from around here are NOT ready to be on their own, and of course it is a case by case sort of thing, but I doubt in her case she was as ready to fly as she apparently thought. Was the car she was driving even hers? Not likely, if she was making payments on it, she likely doesn't have a job anymore after that stunt. 17 may be old enough to go out on your own, but if you don't own the car you are driving, you'd better take some other form of transportation.
Thank you all for you concern and to Skip for starting a post for Haley...which was your idea because you said you get lots of emails about missing kids. I think it's important regardless of their age. Seventeen year old "adults" aren't exactly the most mature of the bunch...it's a proven fact the brain doesn't fully develop until the age of 27 or 28. If you have children then you would understand what it would be like for them to run away and not know where they were...especially girls. Anyway...thank you all for your help, concern and prayers.:daisy:
The town of Bisbee has this big open pit coper mine , I had a hard time visualizing a 17 yo girl driving a loader at an open pit http://bisbeearizona.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=25&Itemid=36 http://www.discoverbisbee.com/attractions.htm http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-473903-bisbee_vacations-i http://www.discoverbisbee.com/ desert rat
Skip, with some of what we read, do you think the average 17 yo is ready to be on their own these days? Whiners forum?
I only came to this thread after it was clear that Haley was safe, so the emotion was somewhat removed from it. I'm so glad that she is safe, and I just hope that whatever issues are going on (because there must be something) are sorted with understanding.
