12 weeks :)

I had another board that got lost somewhere and wasn't getting replies anyways, haha. So! 3 months and I'm ecstatic to say someone has asked me how long I've been growing my dreads! I felt an official initiation lol, though really, they're still getting there.

Have they started to shrink yet?

 

Yes! Not incredibly a lot. Mainly, it's the same length as it was back in June before dreads.

 

I miss the early, unsure stages. Relish in them. They'll be over before you know it.

People also tend to think I am a dude. They're nicr once they know you're female. lol.

 

What's the next stage after this? I'm enjoying the loops, just not the undreaded hair that makes me look like a hybrid.

That's why I enjoyed being a male to them, so they can be ruthless to me and I don't have to gain their nice demeanor by flattery and cleavage. Though if you viewed my profile, you'd know I was a girl. lol.

 

It's hard to tell what the next stage will be. they kind of go through alternate stages of loosening, moving, tightening, etc
