It has very little to do with barefooting, other than my lead character being a barefoot ninja in early Japan. Plus, his name in Japanese stands for "Barefoot".

It's very loosely based on myself being barefoot the majority of the time in real life, and somewhat of the Video game, "Skyrim", which I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with, or have heard about it. (My character in the game is barefoot as well. totally irrelevant to this post, but I thought I'd share that too, lol.) except changed everything from Nordic to Japanese themed with barely anything overlapping, with most of the Japanese names BSed using google translate.

It was written for my 11th grade Creative Writing Class. and I figured I'll share it. I suppose the plot is linear and, in my opinion, very predictable. Whether you enjoy it or not, I appreciate the time anyone would take to read it. I'm not a professional writer, by any means, lol, but I try to get a good grade in that class. I would ask for criticism, but the Paper's due tomorrow. Soo.... yeah. I wouldn't mind criticism anyway, if you feel the need to comment. Link is the thing below~

The sad thing is, that in most games footwear raises character statistics or has some special armor traits to it... therefore, not wearing it can result in losing hit points or reducing armor class. At some point, when your character is high enough in level and skills, you can forfeit those, I'm sure.

I have a barefoot character on a classic MUD (multi-user dungeon, these good old text-based telnet games still exist) known as Realm of Magic - she (yes, I play a female character there... some men do things like that :D ) is clearly barefoot when you look at her, stating her unshod condition as well as wearing foot jewelry in her character description. However, when looking at her inventory, you will "see" her wearing boots - which add to her total hit points and armor class. And as far as hit points are concerned, an elf mage needs all HP (s)he can get.

You can view her stats and a few facts about her on this page:

    Wiggling bare role-playing toes,
