Very Bitter Blotters

I recently got a 10 strip of of some L, or well thats what I was told it was. Its on "Where the Wild Things Are" pre perffed (sp?) blotters. I took a single hit about a half hour ago, not feeling anything yet, but the blotter itself was very very bitter, and almost alcoholly, nasty, ugh kinda taste, I had to swallow it whole couldn't stand the taste for much longer. Is this normal? I got a few hits some time ago of WoWs that had almost the exact same taste. Could this be some sort of RC? It was supposedly laid by a friend of a friend of a friend. And we all know that's always legit.... If memory serves me right , L is laid with an alcohol based solution, right? Could the amount of alcohol in this particular solution be the culprit? I just wanna know what it is I have here. Thanks

Crystal LSD placed in viles is put in an alcohol solution because it is much harder to freeze then water, so therefore is easy to store in the fridge, plus water is less then ideal for acid. I have had liquid that has a bitter alcohol taste. But I have had WOW numerous times and it has had no taste. Alcohol is not used when laying blotter.

 

The alcohol evaporates, I never taste anything on real LSD blotter other than a kind of electric buzz that is barely noticeable.

 

As upper said, if alcohol is used, it evaporates, that's WHY it's used anyways.

If it was really horrible, it may have been DOx. If the come-up takes about an hour longer than LSD normally would, lines and hallucinations are more candy coloured and sharp edged/geometric than LSD, and there's more body clenching/jaw clenching than LSD, you may have DOx.

If you don't have an overwhelming reason to think it's not LSD, it's probably at least a similar chemical, and you're tasting ink.

 

Every LSD blotter I've had was bitter to some degree, but you seem to be saying it was extremely bitter, to the point of being difficult to keep in your mouth, which could be indicative of DOx, as was my experience. The real test is the subjective effects though. Do you come up within 10minutes to 3 hours, and are you back down basically within 8-12 hours? Is it sort of an amphetamine-y dreamspace that is at the same time very stimulating? Or is it more of a liquid reality melter that seems both very gentle and also very profound.

So hard to talk about this sort of thing especially if you've not done a lot of other drugs I could compare things to. If you've done MDA, and you feel what you're on is somewhat like MDA, then you have yourself a DOx.

LSD also has that electric thing on the tongue going on, though i'm not so sure how strongly i'd want to lean on that as a proof that what you have is LSD, or even that every LSD experience will necessarily come with that feeling. I've had LSD where I was already pretty high 10 minutes after swallowing, and I've had it where it was a good 2-3 hours after eating it before things really started to get going, so the inherent variability of the experience also makes it very difficult to diagnose the contents of your blotter without much more information.

But that perfed sheet you posted... Those are available as "blotter art", nothing on them. Produced by the son of Ken Kesey. He makes some awesome blotter prints. In my limited experience, legit lucy laid on blotter by the few legit people that are in that world, don't go to places like that to purchase blotter art. It's usually custom made. Thats why most of the famous stuff that has gone around is impossible to find as undosed blotter.
It was probably some random person that got some DOx or maybe an Nbome? and made some homemade "acid". Which might also be why it tasted like crap.

 

There has been bitter acid blotters here that we're in fact an rc of some sort, it could have been anything. They were like unbearablely bitter in taste, but still got you tripping. I love the taste of acid, there is nothing like it.

well i figured out what i had was 25i nbome i think i got that all right...

i asked my friend i got it from and he asked the man he got it from and he fessed up....


i really have no problem with rc's and since i dont know where to get them i dont really care if i get raped price wise...... just be honest, let me know what im taking. anyways, wasn't L now i know. case closed

 

I kinda doubt this.

To take nbome you need to be aware of what you're taking, and hold it under your tongue, I think. Pretty sure it won't survive your stomach.

Then again, if you hold acid in your mouth like a tool...... you get dosed like a tool :2thumbsup:

 

I don't know what the chemical is, but there is a chemical that when combined on the blotter makes nbome active orally. At least that is what I hear. Also I always absorb my doses sublingually.

 

It's hpbcd or hydroxypropyl-beta cyclodextrin. I'm no chemist so I might be off, as I understand it the nbome's are not hydrophilic, that is, don't mix with water.
Just like oil. So it isn't absorbed via saliva (water) like most other things. Complexing with hpbcd makes nbome 'water soluble'.

 

It still is active orally even if it isn't complexed. That just makes it "more water soluble".

 

What do you mean "if you hold acid in your mouth like a tool?" and I held the doses for at least 6 min. I believe (at the time of the post) i took a few of the others and held them in my mouth for a full 15 min (like I do L usually) the swallowed, this created a much stronger trip.

 

I would appreciate not being called a tool for holding it under my tongue. Sublingual dosing has always been popular, buccal dosing too.

You had it right man, all good. You can swallow it too if you want.

 

With genuine LSD, swallowing should be as strong as sublingual absorbtion, or very nearly.

I personally get a good taste to know the most I can about what's in my mouth, and then swallow.

 

everytime i got a blotter with a taste i spit it out. unless i want to have an rc trip

 

thats why i like to get it fresh from whoever broke it down. lots of my family break down crystal... u know the dosage and the purity
