Got rid of my Facebook account!! :D

After a while of contemplating how important Facebook was to me I gave it the ol' boot. I deleted all my pictures first because im just that paranoid haha. But im glad to be off the site, now just gotta take care of those nosy bastards on Hipforums ...Nah i love you guys too much! :2thumbsup:

I have been Facebook free since the end of summer and it's nice to not have that impulse to waste time on it.

After I got rid of it I had the urge to post a status about it....Facebook withdrawals? Haha

 

I did away with mine months ago, deleted all of my pictures first too . It was hard to stay off of it for the two weeks so it would be "deleted".

 

All your info is still in their database..... you can't delete that..... just because it may not show on "your page" doesn't mean they don't own it to do what they want with it.

Oh for sure man, anything you put on the internet is public and will stay there, Id much rather use a site like this though since theres no names and no personal info.

If I dissapear, my real friends on there will know,

I got rid of my account for about a year, I'm back on FB now thought to premote my music, but hardly ever use it really.

 

I still dont get it some people have over 1000 friends on facebook. I just wonder are they real friends? or do they know eachother ? Is it so cool to have more than 1000 friends? lol

 

Haha no kidding, after I deleted mine my brother started think about deleting his and he went through all his friends and he could only pick like 8 people he actually talks to out of the some 500 friends he had on Facebook.

 

Yeah thats the only thing im going to miss about it. Actually I forgot to delete my music page when I deleted the account, I wonder how that works.

 

Most of the 69 people on my list currently I've known a good while or have met in rl at least.
