Hi all, I'm amazed this forum exists.Discovered it accidentally through Google. (did we ever think we'd live long enough to see such a thing turn into a verb?)
The part of the world I live in is odd in that anyone with even vague hippie tendencies hides them very carefully. I'm not sure why that is the case as the local authorities are no more irrational in their persecution of 'druggies' and alternatives than most places. Maybe it's just the small rural community where gossip spreads. One thing I do notice here is the indiscriminate consumption of alcohol and other drugs of doubtful chemical composition by young red-necks around these parts. None of them I've encountered would qualify as hippies or even alternatives.
So, I potter in my garden, listen to Supertramp's 'Crime of The Century' now and again and remember the days when maryjane was pure and LSD was actually LSD.
