I got lovely little snake bites two and a half weeks ago. Things were going perfectly fine and I was following the aftercare instructions to the tea. But the past few days, I was sick, and things have taken a turn for the worse. There's quite a few more 'crusties' than is normal and inside my mouth, there's this weird white stuff on my left side. There's no pain (unless I accidentally touch it), but it's a bit unnerving. Has anyone had problems with this before??

    The outside looks normal-ish

you need to work some antiseptic in there. peroxide is ok, but it can be a little caustic..

try some salt water, and Chloraseptic® for the pain.. Anbesol for severe pain..

Drink lots of water and keep the body hydrated, avoid alcohol..

They can look like that sometimes.

Did you get it pierced with a ring, or did you put that in after?

a long labret would be much better throughout the healing process, it should never be pierced with a ring and you should wait until its fully healed to change it, as that causes flare ups. :)

sea salt, or NON-alcholic mouth wash!
    alcohol will irritate it!
clean the outside with warm water and sea salt with cotton ear buds!

    It should clear up!
    Salty water works wonders :D

I would disagree with that, too much cleaning will destroy the natural bacteria in the mouth, normally the tongue and lip piercings are excerlated in healing because the natural bacteria in the mouth destroys almost any outsider bacteria that could cause infection.

    Human mouths are very clever.
