Popping the question??

K so I have been going out with my current gf for a little over a year, and I've never met anyone like her, my longest relationship so far, and we're been living together for a little while too, I know in my heart that this is true love and she is the one, we've talked about marraige and kids and we're on the same page,

But any good romantic ideas for popping the question? I mean our first date was dinner and a metal show so thats what I thought but I dunno if that would be romantic enough, I love her and want this to be special and dont wanna fuck anything up, I problably won't but any good ideas would be appreciated! Thanks

 

I think it would be romantic to do it at another show of the same band? Is that possible?

 

Take her out to a restaurant and ask there, take a walk on the beach, go to the park, pretty much anything involving quality time and good memories with her would be romantic. Good luck!

I think that the whole "take them to the place the first date happened" is a little played out. Not knowing what you are in to, I would say try something a little unexpected. Have the ring put into a fortune cookie and take her out for Chinese or something.

 

Just proposing is special enough, why do you need all the distractions?

 

yeah I agree with the beach part. But its winter time so, I guess taking her a concert than dinner>>

 

beaches can be pretty great in the winter. plus, they're a lot more likely to be alone that way.

 

I would say be original do something surprising

 

1.) Find a Bear
2.) Feed it Ring
3.) Find bear and bring wife
4.) kill bear
5.) Gut it
6.) If she asks why say its a magic trick
7.) Put bloody ring on her finger
8.) Ask if she would be willing to watch you do that again everyday for the rest of her life.

If not.

1.) Find Bear
2.) Bring wife
3.) Feed wife to bear
4.) Kill bear
5.) Burn Bear
6.) Put remnants of bear in Urn
7.) Burn the urn
8.) Take ashes and cook into steak
9.) Feed steak to another bear
10.) Cook bear shit into steak
11.) Feed shit to bear.

Repeat.

I asked her!! We're engaged!! We go to Tim Hortons up here in Canada ALOT, and thats where a good many dates were after the first concert one was so thats how I asked her, taped the ring on top of the Tim Horton's cup and made a little sign that said will you marry me? Haha she loved it because we go to Tim Hortons SOOO much its kinda special to us, thanks guys for all the suggestions!

Too late, but ai was going to say if going to a metal show if you could talk to the band and get them to stop half way through then awk her infront of like a thousand people, that would have been cool.
