are you taking any anti depressants? I used to get similar things when I was taking them. I hated it.
Sodium and Potassium ... They also carry messages along your nerves and help control things like your heartbeat.... system, and muscles, which require electrical signals for communication bewtween nerves.. low potassium levels are associated with muscle twitches and spasms....
I'll get some bananas tomorrow. I remember Tues. and Wed. the each of the 4 grandkids had to sit on my lap and do back bends and I held the small of their backs. Each one wanted to do it over and over. I told them I had to stop because it was hurting my wrists. Maybe that did it; but it didn't start twitching like crazy 'til Saturday so I don't know.
If I could get to a massage therapist or chiropractor I would. I'm in a position where I'll have to rely on home remedies for now.
I was gunna ask the same thing. My eyebrow does this strange twitch when I'm dehydrated...or sometimes, not when I'm dehydrated but just not drinking as much water over a prolonged period of time
I took the Naproxen again last night after not taking it for 4 nights. I didn't realize, until I stopped it, how much it was relieving the pain in my knees. I didn't get the rash after taking it (which I was suspicious it was causing), but the jumping muscle in the forearm and twitching finger is still with me this morning.
Sounds like a trigger point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigger_point Have you tried accupressure? http://www.acupressure.com/
i been twitching since I was young. It happens out of no where, but the strangest thing is that it usually happens like once a week. My neck will move, and my upper body will just shake.
