so when you meet a guy, do you usually know right off bat whether you want to just have sex with him or if you want him to be something more (relationship)? basically I'm just wandering if girls have a type of guy they meet when they just want to have sex as opposed to seeing a guy and going, wow, "i'd date him". is there even a difference.

basically i always end up with girls that want to date me, and my friends always end up with girls who just want sex. it's not a problem for me or anything, but i was wonderinggg

physically, no, but i can tell when talking to a guy if he's only good for sex or if i'm into him in other ways too.

I've been married to long to have much expreince with this --
Sure, there are guys that right off the bat I think, " I would never screw them"- i wouldn't know about the rest.
BUT from my knowledge of other women:
That usually has more to do with the individual chicka than the dude.
IOW, your friends are better at bagging skanks.Improve your aim

I use a highly complicated equation to determine if I want to encounter someone in any type of future setting.

Basically this: hotness ratio +/- number of tattoos/piercings divided by number of books read (classics only) + number of countries traveled to. Subtract this number from year of birth, multiply by BMI and add 15% ratio for foreigners that cannot speak english. This final number gets written on a ping pong ball with a green sharpie and thrown into a mix of Bingo balls at the local Bingo hall. If this ball gets chosen I buy a scratch lotto ticket and then call my sister to wish her a Happy Birthday. If she answers - I plan to hang out with the original person again in the near future, if I get her voice mail I will be having no future dealings with said person.

Yeah, sometimes you see guys that look hot but look like they have no brain cell to spare, and you might say "wow I would hit that" but that's as far as it goes. Girls are much like guys these days (adolescent girls), and when talking to their girlfriends about guys it is usually in sexual context unless the girls are best friends and have boyfriends.

I think the difference is, the guys that it would be solely sexual are the guys who look hot but also look like they are douchebags and don't have a brain, and the guys that girls say they would date are guys that look smiley and nice and friendly. That is what I have seen in my experience though, I can't say personally because I've been in a relationship for 3 years and I've never seen a guy that I can say "I'd date him".

Well, I have only chosen to have sex with two people. The first guy I had no interest in a relationship or sex, but he eventually wore me down and I gave in so that doesn't count. My current boyfriend I knew the second I saw him that I both wanted to have sex with him and marry him.

So I am not sure... I guess I have never wanted to have casual sex.
