THATS RIGHT, I SAID IT! I like my pancakes slightly undercooked, no syrup and just in between fluffy and thin. No lie. :afro:
this should be either in the kinky forum or the weird, bizarre forum i suppose now you will claim the same nonsense about waffles...i usually do not advocate driving people out of any particular community but i think my friends here will agree you need intervention.....soon do you have any family you can trust?
I used to put peanut butter on my pancakes with syrup, I learned it at a hockey camp one summer in halliburton
I too don't take syrup on my pancakes. Just a pat of butter. As Orison mentioned, syrup is for drinking out of the jug.
i can agree with the OP, id rather my pancakes slightly undercooked than overcooked, though a happy medium is nice. BUT i too, love love love my pancakes and most waffles without syrup!!!! ESPECIALLY if made with HFCS, fuck that shit completely. No butter for me either though. honey or real maple syrup on occasion but even that shit is too sweet most of the time.
Yes, I don't like it because its too damn sweet!! I have no taste for things too sweet. A tad is enough!
I like pancakes covered in butter or butter and honey. When I liked eating meat I loved bacon wrapped in pancakes. I might just go make pancakes right now
I would think this thread should of been in a food sec of this forum . If it has such a sec. Any way I have not eatten pancakes in a very long time . I have eatten them with only butter, there ok that way . My normal breakfast is a chese crisp , its a flour tortilla with melted cheese , and I eat it with a lot of garlic . Some will put peppers , onions, or salsa , in side there chese crisp . Maby some one will try pancakes , with butter , peppers , onions , garlic , it does sound wild . Salsa on pancakes , is just to strange . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tortilla http://allrecipes.com/recipes/appetizers-and-snacks/dips-and-spreads/salsa/ http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/salsa-recipe/index.html desert rat ps http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cheater-pancake-syrup/morerecipeslikethis.aspx
