I'm really getting into Moondog lately. He's an amazing and eccentric visionary composer who is highly original. Its hard to pinpoint what genre he'd be in, but a lot of his stuff sounds pretty jazzy so I thought I'd post here. Here's some of his stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7guHqujmrs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSimbyS_YlA Its really amazing to paint to.
Moondog was completely in a genre all of his own, but maybe jazz comes closest of the recognized pigeonholes, for people that need them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7qeXMWTe8Q"]Moondog - Bird's Lament - YouTube Pretty innovative with recording too...even back in the 1950s he was using enviromental sounds... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azb2Uv-M9s8"]Moondog - Surf Session - YouTube
