:afro:Hey all, Weekends normally going out for some good times, this past weekend I had TOO much fun and was invited out again! Yeesh but unable to do so this weekend ...........costs me about 200 for travel and another 200 for hotel , so fun time will have to wait until pay day lol.Just hope my "buddy" can wait another week ? So what is everyone else doing this weekend?
Nothing, the super bowl isn't until next weekend so I’ll just chill and watch Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger hop around on his gimpy ankle during the Pro-Bowl Hotwater
I do pretty much the same thing every weekend - out for dinner & or drinks with friends on Fri night. Sat morning is dedicated to chauffeur duty (kids play sports) Sat aft working on the homestead (this weekend I'm making jam and planting chard XD). Sunday is always left open for whatever arises. How about you?
I've had all week off, now the weekend is for studying and moving furniture. Such an exciting life I live!
Will be sleeping as much as I can :afro: it's been super busy this week, and I'm going to take a wild guess and say I'll get some house calls as I got a patient who returned home from the hospital and the family needs support. I wouldn't mind going for a hike and getting some new pictures! this is a matter of perspective, or perhaps not everyone sees or has the same days as their weak end. pretty much the only thing that differentiates the days of my week, is that buses don't run on sunday, and only half as many do on saturday. not a problem as long as the fridge is stocked before the weekend. or weak end. sitting in front of this computer can be the same one day as it is another. travel is fun of course. paying 200 for a hotel is not, unless its once or twice a year for some kind of fan run convention, like furries or real science fiction or model trains or some other interest group thing like that, maybe anime, and so on. travel is most fun when it can be done cheaply and worry free both. since i refuse to indenture myself for an automobile (and refuse to subsidize what doing so would) my greater mobility is mid-weak, rather then weak end. of course intercity transport suffers less from day of the weak fanaticism, but is not entirely immune to it either. i hope that 200 is for at least two nights and not just one.
I based that on my last visit, where I was put for travel from work... I stayed there instead of moving to my usual hotel which is 52 a night (with discount cause im awesome lol) I do this for privacy, don't live a lone here or get much sleep or relaxation so going to town is a treat for me and much needed.
Really just taking things as they come I'll be heading off to a friends place soonish, just chill out and everything. Then later we'll have drinks, listen to some music, act like dorks - per usual.
