Let's Go Barefoot in NYC

In the spring. Times Square! Subways! 42nd Street! Anyone interested?

 

If i lived in new york i would be!

 

If only I could afford a trip up there. I had the chance to visit in Summer 2001 (yes, right before 9/11 happened) with a group from my church, but I had just started a new job and couldn't take off. I'm still kicking myself to this day for not making that trip.

 

I did NYC barefoot with a friend, down in SoHo and the village. Was wild. Our feet were blacker than I ever saw them.

 

I met two ex-girlfriends on the street in the Village a long time ago. We were both barefoot. I remember saying to one "I see we like the same style and color shoes!" because our feet were so black. Sadly, you NEVER see anyone barefoot in the city anymore. If I were closer I'd love to. I remember when it wasn't uncommon to see half dozen barefooters in and around the Village, Washington Square, etc.

 

Sounds awesome ... must have looked so cool!

 

I do get to the NY area, but only in the fall around Halloween.

been there, done that. besides, i only barefoot NYC in the summer.
