So I hadn't done MDMA in about 3 months and last week my friend told me he got me on the guestlist to see Anamanaguchi. So I decided to grab .4 of molly since it's fuckin 8-bit power-pop-metal. I got to the venue and took 2 caps cause I wanted to make sure I was fucked when they came on. Between the first and second opener I started to feel kinda weird and uncomfortable. Then I started to feel a full-on trip and I was convinced that there was somehow acid in there. Halfway through the second opener (Extreme Animals, which, at the time, sounded like Mega-Man taking a shit... here's a video Extreme Animals - Dark Green) I was almost positive that I was tripping on doses and told my friends that I simply needed to go home. The trip home was probably only 30 minutes but it felt like hours. I remember freaking out on the subway and thinking "does the train need to stop at every goddamn station?!?" I was nervously pacing back and forth and even walked home from the station rather than take the bus because I was scared that if I stopped moving I would collapse and die. By the time I got home I was getting pretty intense visuals (which I've never gotten from M before) that seemed similar to acid but more synthetic or digital, if that makes any sense. I said hi to my brother who was having a party when I got home and noticed that people's voices were sounding really warped. I took that as a cue to shut myself in my room. This was about 2 hours after ingestion. After another hour I was able to settle into it. I still thought I may also be on acid but was less certain of it than when I left the gig. The music I listened to sounded AMAZING. I don't think there's ever been another time when MDMA warped music in the way that it did that night. I distinctly remember listening to King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown and just "getting it" in a similar way that acid makes you "get" music, but it was a little less ineffable and a little more focusing on beats and textures. I also noticed that all the music I listened to seemed like it was in a lower key than it should've been. It took about 6-7 hours from when I dropped it before I fully came down, but I couldn't sleep for a few more hours after that. A few nights ago I got bored and decided to take another cap, partly to see what it was like to take it slow and partly so I could know if there was really acid in it, my logic being that I wouldn't feel the acid as much this time around because my tolerance was still up. I railed it this time and noticed that my whole nose and mouth went almost completely numb for about 20 minutes, which has never happened before. I then realized that there was no acid and these particular Ms just had a really long and uncomfortable come-up. After roughly 2.5 hours I had almost settled into it and decided to pop my last one. After another uncomfortable hour I noticed that still had a tiny bit of weed left. I smoked a bowl and immediately felt that amazing, euphoric MDMA feeling. It was then that I realized that a really strong MDMA experience can feel like an actual trip. I spent the next few hours alternating between TV and music. I listened to a lot of hardcore punk that night (most notably Refused and Nation of Ulysses) and a Nine Inch Nails remix album, which sounded just incredible. And again with the lower key thing. The more I peaked, the deeper the music sounded. So why the weird, long come-up? Was it cut? Was it an analog? Or was it just really good MDMA?
It sounds more like MDA or an analogue of that. The duration and the heavy visual effects suggest something other than Mdma. The pitch shifting of the music makes me think it Possibly could've been a 2cx too. (2ci/2ce)
Did you have a full stomach when you dropped? Can you clarify the dosages, you say you bought 400mg, and then took two caps, does that mean you took 2 200mg caps or 2 400mg caps? The music lowering effects make me think of DiPT but I wouldn't seriously think you were given that, most likely a 2c-x.
I wish I would get given a 2cx instead of MDMA. I would've thought at these dosages though the effects would have been ALOT more psychedelic if they where indeed a 2cx.
If it were 2cx, it would definitely have to be cut to create that dose. And Why would you want any other drug than the drug you asked for?
I believe that it was 100mg per cap but it may have been distributed a bit unevenly. Can't remember if I had eaten or not. I've done 2c-e and it didn't remind me of that, but I'd be willing to believe that it was MDA or laced with some other 2c-x (or both???). I appreciate all your input.
