Hi everyone, I want to invite everyone to an 'Intentional Community Forum' I have put together. There are'nt very many members as of yet but I hope that will change before to long. I am very much interested in hearing different views, wants and desires concerning what you as an individual are looking for in a community. If you are forming a community or want to join a community or just want to learn more about IC's feel free to post your ads comments, reservations, hopes dreams etc. I hope to meet and talk to people of diversity whereas my mind is not completely set in stone as to what an ideal community is. Sure I have certain ideas and things I want to have in common with others but also diversity is important to me too. I am leaning towords a self sufficient, organic aqauponics, monolithic dome structure/homes. A combination of getting back to a simpler way of life and embracing mother nature but also making use of advancing technology. More natural forms of energy; sun, wind and mabe water. Taking responsibilty for my ecological decisions that not only effect me but all life, earth and stars. Being surrounded by people that have good morals and ethics is very important to me. I have little tolerance for extreem selfishism (ok mabe thats not a word, lol). I want to be part of a community where fellowship is sought on a day to day basis. And where I as an individual I can grow, learn, and feel a sense of community with my peers and surroundings. Well it's certainly good to see the formation of something akin to ic.org,,, Hopefully you can build in some sort of script which will querry communities as to their current status on a 3 month basis and update the site accordingly,,, otherwise it will just devolve into a hodgepodge of forming or disbanded groups and a few hidden gems.
