Ive been trying to figure out what i want to do with my life. Ive fucked up every opportunity so far, so i was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on what to do with my life. I was doing the automotive program at a community college but its putting too much stress on my knees and feet. Yesterday when i was at the doctor i found out there is nothing they can do to fix it and all they can do for me is pain management so i have to find something else to do.
Unfortunately that's a question you have to figure out for yourself . Hell ,I'm in my forties and I still don't know , what I want to be when I grow up .
Other than cars, gardening is something i really enjoy but i don't see how i could make any money doing since i have little space to grow vegies. And i think the local farmers market charges money to set up a table so I'm not sure id be able to make any money there.
You may be stacking the deck against yourself by adopting the mind set that "you've fucked up every opportunity" without taking a moment to concentrate on some positives-- things, skills that you can do. I think that actively engaging in indoor gardening is an extremely positive thing in that unlike most people you're willing to put your words to action. To me that's a rarity. I don't really know you and I can come up with that pretty quickly so I seriously doubt that you've actually failed at every venture... in a way, even failures are successes in that they offer a useful learning opportunity and help make you a very decent person with perspective. I've seen a large measure of "can't do" which i do not buy coming from you. I would suspect that if you got a measure of self confidence you'd find that there's not a whole lot that's out of your reach. Intelligence doesn't appear to be an issue from where I sit, just faith in yourself. Maybe seeing if a local farmer might need a little help. The pay won't be much but the experience wouldn't hurt. Stick with something and you'll begin to be seen as a reliable hard worker. At 22 you're not really behind the proverbial 8-ball as far as getting your life on track. You have so very much time ahead of you. Be happy in that as well.
Good line- but some (maybe most) of my friends are drug addicts on the internet. Along the lines with what stinkfoot said-have you already tried something that you want to try again. Yea maybe it didn't work out before-but you're a little smarter now.
Nobody's saying you need to plant and harvest your own farm..... Now some of this work can be as hard or harder than working on cars, you know that. (or should know that) But think along the lines of landscape design, greenhouse work, even indoor plant maintenance services..... lots of different avenues here for working with plants. Think out side the box. :2thumbsup:
Hey-- we can quit anything we want! justnottoday!:leaving: I assumed you needed to eat fiber in order to get quality shit.
well thanks for the advice guys. I think i might check out this plant nursery by my house see if they need help. That or go on ebay and see what kind of plants people are buying. HBWR, san pedro, and salvia might be able to make me some money. I just need to invest in more full spectrum lights.
Good plan. When you're doing time you'll find what you want to do but you won't be able to do it when you're out because you're have that FELONY mark on your grades. Maybe shrooms can help you answer this question.
UNderstood. Then don't send it back to Ohio. Sell it legally here for a less profit. If you can't figure out what to do with yourself, get legal.
that it is though i have no car to get me to a self serve place. And could i get in trouble with the law for being on someone elses business drying off cars?
