My hunt for the right community has been on going. I am a 25 year old female living in Ontario but I am really willing to travel anywhere. I have looked into some egalitarian community's but many of them require a three week trial period and then a month away before any decisions are made. I just dont have the options of traveling somewhere, leaving and coming back. I literally want to pack up all my life and start fresh amongst people like me that believe that if all of us work together we can lighten the load. I am tired of having conformist ideals jammed down my throat and I dream of living off the land amongst people that respect and care for each other. Here also is a communty list on this same website. http://directory.ic.org/iclist/ Some of these are forming but many are existing. Below is an example that I thought looked interesting.
