Drives me mad! My father has rekindled his online gambling addiction, and this for some reason requires him to watch 'Rounders' continuously. It's played it four times already today, he's on the fifth now.

People in my household always do this! It was especially annoying when the movie of choice was 'Cats'. Even though it is my DVD, fuggit I don't want to hear it from when I wake up until when I go to sleep.

I love watching the same movie over and over again. I watched this BBC miniseries and I watched it like twice a day for weeks I loved it so much. As soon as I watch a movie I like I will watch it so many times, it's kinda my thing.

Luckily Charles is exactly like me and we are the only people we hang out with so I don't bother anyone with it.

It has to be a really good movie for me to watch it over and over again and I have to be stoned as shit each time. The Big Lebowski's the only one where I've done that.

oh yeah, there was a topic here.

i don't like to watch movies or tv shows more than once, at least without at least a couple months in between viewings. unfortunately, i have cable and i tend to not bother changing the channel often, so i end up having the same movies play in the background several times a week. if plays twice in a day, i'll actually take the time to change channels.

Irritates me as well! I'll watch a movie one or two times. Books I can read over and over again though.

Hellz yeah, I have watched that one a lot, but.... I like to space it out!
I find that the people I get along best with think it is a great movie. And The dude is sexy. (I like when he dances during the tripped out scene)

I thought someone might just have guessed that was the name, but googling is close enough.
Also out of the US of A! Only for a good minute or so, then at least out of Florida for a while. I'll probably die here though.

F staying on topic, this is random thoughts

I couldn't count how many times I've seen it. It's crazy, I've NEVER done that with a movie in my life but it's more than just a movie, it's an odyssey.

rereading books is even worse than rewatching movies to me. with movies you're only spending 90 minutes doing something you've already done; with books you're committing several hours and i'd rather commit several hours to something new to me. plus, i usually only have movies on in the background while i read or forum or something, so it's not as important if it's not completely new, whereas books require pretty much full concentration.
