Hello stoners! I hope you're all buzzin' right now haha.

Recently, my dad told me that he was going to get me a job in Alberta, with the company he's with, driving a truck. The problem is, there's a drug test, hurray!.... I could get a detox, sure, but that wouldn't solve this problem... I decided I'd go 28 days without smoking, so I started Febuary Free... 5 days in and I'm having troubles eating. My stomach just feels really uneasy and when I do eat, it isn't a lot, because it feels like I'm going to get sick..

The other day, I smoked, just to see if it'd help or something, cause I was really hungry, just couldn't eat without feeling the need to puke it back up. There was no change in my stomach pains right away, but at about 1 hour after I smoked, my friend asked me if my stomach pains had stopped... Surprisingly, they did! And I went and ate a little bit, with no uneasy feeling.

I'm just wondering if anyones experienced this after quitting smoking weed? I don't know what else it could be... Could be just a coincidence I guess, but I figured if anyone would know, it'd be fellow stoners of the internet.

    Thank you! :afro:

I had this problem when I quit. You just have to wait it out really. It'll stop soon. Try taking digestive enzymes, I find that they help me get hungry and make it easy to get food down.

def know what u mean man, i stopped (slowed down) about a month ago and i still have some issues... but i can give u some advice of what i do..

it starts as soon as i wake up, and usually a cup of tea eases my stomach so try that out in the mornings(i add a lot of sugar too haha)
try cooking or heating (buying) hot foods, usually more appetizing than eating something cold..
also, exercise will help stimulate your hunger

and thats all i got man lol, im still trying to figure out ways to conquer it, b/c its always been a prob for me too

Broccoli usually does a better job for me, and I get all my daily nutrients too, cause when you smoke it, it quadruples in nutrients!

Glad to see it isn't just me.. That's a relief lol. Wasn't really looking forward to going to the doctors and them telling me my stomach was fucked...

Yeah, some foods are easier to eat than others... Fruits and eggs are what work for me... I guess I'll just have to wait this out!
    Thank you for the feedback!

I start needing little sleep and food.

Just roll with it, it feels strange but won't hurt you. If you don't feel like eating, don't eat, same for sleeping. You'll slip back into rhythm.

as far as i'm concerned it's the only averse physical side effect, besides not being able to sleep worth a damn

Get some pro-biotics, be it in pill form (acidolpholus), yogurt, milk kefir or water kefir. You can't buy water kefir though, you'd have to find grains and brew your own. I love water kefir! Ginger is good for stomach upset, I like tea or Gin Gins candy. Delicious!
