Steel Reserve is as bad as you can get when it comes to quality. But yeah, it will definitely get you fucked up fast, and will give you a wicked hangover for the morning. Really nasty shit for people who just wanted to get wasted. Wiggers and metalheads love this shit. As do the niggas. I am not above drinking the shit, and have in the past. Many times, in fact. What can I say, I was at my lowest low.

Personally, I like quality beer, and am a bit of an aficionado. I think America has some great craft brews/breweries, but I also love beers from, Belgium, Germany and England. Right now I am drinking a beer called Humboldt Hemp Brown Ale. It's made by the Nectar Brewing Co. out of Paso Robles, Ca. It's a decent session beer, but nothing out of this world.

Ha they get they're pretty strong, but they get the job done. They are the perfect mix when I'm making some electronic beats (which I'm doing now). They give me some fluid ears i guess lol.

My favorite local beer and it comes from the first all organic brewery in the US and is made using all renewable energy, so it is just awesome in every possible way.

I apologize for the extreme size of the picture

9% Alcohol Content. Used to be able to chug a 40 of it in minutes. Would rather not touch that shit now though .. :)

    Hobgoblin is delicious.

    Currently in my fridge:

    Stone Ruination
    Left Hand Milk Stout
    Breckinridge Vanilla Porter

There's probably a Bud Select or two in there too

Oh and I forgot: I still have a bottle of New Albanian Hoptimus

I like how everyone is posting about fancy shmancy microbrews and whatnot when the thread was about Steel Reserve.

I used to drink a little bit of steel reserve, it's harsh. But it's the only one I could stomach. I got a "Four O" one time, and I literally vomited in disgust.. My body completely rejected it. "four loko" is at least able to be swallowed for a while, but the buzz is more of a feeling sick than anything else.. As far as other malt liquors go, I've tried a couple of the main name brands and just really cannot drink the stuff!

Four Lokos = death. I bought one the other day, opened it, took a sip, poured it out.

When I worked at a gas station I spent pretty much every second of every day selling Steel Reserve to people. Well that and chew.

I personally could never drink anything like that, I am sure I would puke ... if I want to get wasted I stick to liquor.

Pennsylvania state law prohibits alcohol from being sold in grocery stores and gas stations, so if you want beer you have to get it from a beer distributor or a bar, and beer distributers sell beer by the case, so if you want to find a 40 or something you have to find a bar that's willing to let you buy it and leave the premesis with it

I use to buy two 40ozs of OE all the time. I had to stop drinking it because if i got really drunk off it, the next day both my legs felt numb like, the beer was cutting off my circulation or something, really weird.

Icehouse was good for awhile, but then its taste got worse and worse.

Steel was alright....because well, it was like drinking steel...lol
