I was wondering if you could make a marijuana tea that would give the same effects as smoking it and what the process of creating this tea would include.

there are no answers to choose from, there is just the right answer.

you're not going to get anything making tea with water. you'll need to put some butter or oil in it. seriously, just google it and you'll figure it out.

Well the concept behind eating weed is cooking the thc into a fatty substance. So simply boiling weed will not create an effective weed tea. The best way to make weed tea is to simmer the finely ground weed in heavy cream for at least a half hour, then just make tea and put some of the weed cream in it.

First of all..... "same effects as smoking it" With that requirement, you can't.

You can make tea, just like you would make any other herbal tea, the effects would be nothing like smoking and you should dry and smoke what you used because the good stuff will still be in there. Much of what you smoke it for is not water soluble. The tea will likely cause you to sleep very well.

Now you may be able to concoct some kind of oil based beverage that had the same kind of buzz as baked pot, cookies, brownies, etc. but that's not what you were asking.

Tea: Herbs + Hot water. It's a real simple recipe. Cannabinoids arnt all that water soluble though hence why butter (fat) is used in baking and why it accumulates in your fat instead of quickly being excreted through urine.

Thanks everyone but I'm aware that marijuana isn't water soluble and a fatty substance is required to extract the THC from the marjuana but I was just looking for a recipe for taking that extracted THC-fatty combo, and producing a delicious tea with other possible herbs. Nevertheless, I ended up rolling and lighting up so it don't matter no more!

HAHA! If you keep your stems, you can make tea with those too. What i do is: Keep all the stems until i get roughly 1g, grind it VERY finely, drop that in half a cup of whole milk or cream (the fatter the better), heat it up so the bound between the THC and the fat is optimum and then just pour that in my tea. I put it in a small tea pot and it gives about 1 and a half cup of the mixture. I also you brown sugar or honey to sweeten the mix but that's just me. Not a mind high but more of a nice body buzz. I suggest that you sit down with a book or infront of a good movie. Anyhow... enjoy!
