Having only one hit with the following can be argued: "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco in 1986. It was #1 for three weeks in March/April 1986. However, he also had a minor hit with "Vienna Calling" from the same album. He also did the original German version of "Der Kommissar" in 1982. He also had quite a run in his native Austria, Germany and a few other places. "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz in 1986. It reached #3 in June of 1986. It hit #1 on the dance charts. Their follow up was "Point Of No Return" which did fairly well and was another smash on the dance charts. Those were probably my favorite two artists or groups from the 1980s.
