Man, I'm going to tell you a little story. This story is about when I was addicted to codeine. I was at my friends house, at 2 am, with about 2 other people, all of a sudden, he pulls out a bunch of codeine tabs. I was like ohhh sweet, I want to try that. What I didn't realize was that I was about to make one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Sure, it was awesome that first night, but after that it lead me to get kicked out, on my ass, sleeping in heated garages, and banks every night. But what surprises me, is how addictive it was, considering the high, was like nothing exists. It makes you so miserable to everyone. And I mean, MISERABLE. The last night of me being kicked out, I was sleeping in a bank, acting like a retard, because I was too drunk, high to even consider being in a public place. (I live in Canada, it's cold, so I had to sleep in a warm place). But I had to. So what happened was, I was sleeping, when I saw a police truck, and car pull up. I said to myself oh crap, as I had about 8 grams, of codeine, in my wallet. So I talked to the police officers all mellowed out, and said I only smoked weed, and they asked "are you sure"? I said. "Yeah". So they searched me, took my weed, and lighter, (which was fine) they searched everything, even my wallet. Except for one little zip up pouch in my wallet. And you know what was in there? 8 grams of codeine I feel like I was given a second chance. Now I think it's best I stay away from opiates, and stick to the drugs, that make me learn more about myself, like LSD, weed. I'm not here to tell you not to do it, or to do it, I'm just telling you my story so you can make the choice, in comparison of this, to what would make you happy. As Buddha said, "What matters most in the end, is how well you lived, how well you loved, and how well you learned to let go".
Umm yeah.... Codeine is not illegal to possess in Canada. Either you are a troll, or uninformed. Your problem here is that you were drunk. Otherwise, the police would have had no reason to talk to you. You should probably not drink. Take care. :2thumbsup:

it's not legal in canada. it's legal to buy from a pharmacist without a perscription in pills with no more than 8mg of codeine and at least 2 other active ingredients.
Yeah, but it's better than in the US. Although I have to admit 8mg of Codeine isn't shit. That's about 1/4 of a Tylenol 3, lol.

without a CWE, they're basically useless, recreationally. 300mg (maybe 325, i forget) acetaminophen per pill, so it gets deadly pretty quickly.

if you're scripted the t3's you'd be fine, otherwise it's illegal. with the 8mg ones you'd be okay I would think
You can't get anything here without a script. As someone said, you'd have to do the CWE to have any recreational value. I don't even think 8mg of Codeine would even help much with a cough, much less pain.
