man i miss ozzfest...i forgot what year they stopped doing it...had some pretty good times down there at the post gazette pavillion....i guess Mayhem Festival is pretty much the same...Slipknot was intense....rock on

ozzfest is shit.....the only good time was when slayer and judas priest was on and then year Arch enemy had Gus G on guitars...other then that its the same type bands playing over and over every year......btw god forbid that theirs a band with clean vocals.
Fuck Ozzfest, I'd rather go see the Summer Slaughter tour this year. Cannibal Corpse were just announced, so that's definitely a step in the right direction after last years shit line-up.
None of these traveling festivals ever have any bands I wanna see, except for maybe 2 at the very best. In regards to Ozzfest, I went in 05 but I was only there to see Sabbath, who were perfect that night. However, all the bands before them were shit. Bunch of horrible "metalcore" and "nu metal" bands. This was also just after the Maiden fiasco so they weren't there either. Instead, Velvet Revolver filled in for them :ack2: I'm still holding out for an old school metal festival tour. Probably will never happen in the states though.
I went to ozzfest a couple times, I remember getting so drunk, at the time I didn't even know what pot was
seeing the original sabbath lineup was tight...not many people my age can say they have seen that unless going to ozzfest...and bls destoys....
