I honestly think I was born in the wrong decade. I'm only fifteen but being a hippie is who I am. Am I too young to be one? I've been called a Neo-Hippie before, but I don't like the term. But labels aren't a big deal. I'd just like to now if I'm welcome here :)

Being young is great! Even with things as bad as they are (politically) right now, you have the rest of your life before you, ready for you to enjoy to it's fullest!
    Welcome aboard!

As long as you take the rednecks yelling "hippie" out their windows as a compliment, welcome.

Seriously, what I took as being born a bit too late for the decade, I learned was my search for meaning, as trite as that sounds, I was looking for a cause, a family and an expression of what I felt inside.

If you don't necessarily want to be an extra in Hair, but do want to keep fixing this old world, you are in the right place.

In fact, you whippersnappers have the benefit of seeing what didn't work before, and seeing how to modify it.
You have the fastest communication modes ever, the chance to be insular while still getting the best of large communities, and the chance to share knowledge across the world.

Now, whatcha gonna do with it? :)
