Ok so being a lesbian carries loads of stereotypes and jokes but I'd like to find out what other people have experienced. I always get the one where I'm meant to be very butch and act like a boy. Truth be told I'm a girly girl. My friends love to call me a lemon and that I love to carpet munch... Really is that so funny as I do love doing that to my girlfriend... You are just stating the truth.

I got a reaction once... still surprizes me to this day: "But you're so normal! Aren't they all like butches and femmes? You're just a normal girl"

So yeah... steriotypes are frustrating, also annoys me when they ask me if I want a boyish girlfriend or a girly girl. I personally just want someone who feels good, ya know?

I get that, so who is the man of the relationship. Well none of us. I think it works well. Sometimes I get some people asking who dominates in the bedroom and do I use toys... Also people like to say lesbians are lesbians because they haven't had a real man!

I get it such a lot. Hold on a minute I'm pretty sure my sex life is better than yours thank you. Plus I'm pretty sure you watch porn with lesbians and get off on it that's why they are so interested. It just gets on my nerves. My personal fav is the comment about it only being a phase! Well it's a pretty long phase!

I get that one, believe me being with a girl and loving her is far better than being with a guy. People just don't believe that. I do however say when a friend gets dumped by a guy or the guy has done something that being a lesbian is the key to life.

Men just get women all wrong and women just fall it because of this dicks! It's bad to say but women also think with their vaginas like men and their penises. With a women you can have te same pleasure or most of the time more

You can have more. 2 woman can do loads of stuff a man and a woman can't do and if you want, the male 'equipment' is sold in stores ;)
Besides, it's way easier to talk to a woman than a man. They usually don't understand nor care what the hell I'm talking about :/

I hate that too! I will never forget when my mom and I first discussed me coming out she asked me if I was sure this is what I want and was I sure it wasn't just that I hadn't had good male relationships. To this day that bothers me and that was about two years ago. My gf lives with us now and my mom and her ahabe a great relationship but sometimes I still feel like she thinks I just couldn't get a good man! Any advice on how to move past this?
