I go barefoot all the time on the weekend, the funny thing is that most of the time when I go to shopping centres or catch the train noone ever makes any comments about me not having any shoes on! This is good sometimes when I want to just zone out and check out the shops but other times I wish I could get more interaction because going barefoot is my dress code and I love to talk about it. Today I went into a clothing shop in a shopping centre to buy something and the shop assistant, a middle-aged woman, said to me, "Do you want to buy some shoes because you have none!" I explained I was there to buy something else, she assisted me and then as I was leaving she asked, "Are you sure you don't want to buy some thongs?" I said no thanks and explained I prefer not wearing shoes. Well, not a huge amount of interaction but at least that was something! How can I interact with people more when I am out and about in my bare feet?
bare feet will allow to spare quite some time if one's out for new trousers. you don't have to slip shoes off and on again when you're done trying them on .
He's right, kids! I went some time ago to buy new jeans, and I did it all barefoot. Nice smooth floors, got decently dusty soles, and quite the experience not dealing at all with shoes, walking in from and out to the heated blacktop. Shopping barefoot? YOU BET!
Exactly this!!! I was shopping with my wife the other day, and it was so cold out so was wearing my Stems. I wanted to try on some jeans and thought, man this is a PITA having to keep taking shoes off and on. So I ended up not buying anything and figured I'd come back again later when I was BF, when the weather was a bit warmer outside.
