I've been intrigued with hydroponics for many years, and in my local area, I've been able to see first hand some excellent examples of hydroponic growing, and ask questions.

It's all interesting, but also a bit challenging to sort this out. Every example hydro setup I got to check out was different, and when I asked about nutrients, once again, there were completely different answers from various growers.

So . . . one of my criteria for sorting this out is to look at hydroponics nutrients from companies that have been doing this for many years. My reasoning for this is that over time, various formulas have proven to be the best choice for this particular type of plant, and many people are consistently using those formulas.

I don't mind buying nutrients from an established hydroponics company (as opposed to experimenting, mixing up home brew batches of nutrients). Even if its a bit pricey, which some of these nutrients are, I'd rather put up front the investment for top quality nutrients, than have to worry about this issue later on.

I've already sort of narrowed down my potential selection for nutrients, but before I launch into this hydro project, wanted to get as much input as possible.

I'm open to any and all thoughts and experiences that come to mind, that you might want to share . . . very much appreciated.

If your into hydro like that. They have books and Im sure sites on the equipment and nutrients measurements for the cycles, Veg and flower.. Since I put my girls in dirt. I cant really help you. I can tell you to follow the directions and monitor the system properly. They do not grow themselves.
Its a plant. What works for some, may not work for the other.

Do your neighbors all have the same lawns?

I grow outdoor with hydroponic medium, dilute for continuous feeding and let the plant tell you how much and when to boost and when to flush.

First off I recommend building you own hydro kit which would save you money/ you could build it to fit your needs, second off there are several ways to grow hydroponic ebbandflow, top-drip/top-feed, deep water culture and aeroponic i might be forgetting some but im blazed and tired I am currently in the working on building my own aero system however An ebband flow dwc and top-drip are probably easier to build/better for newer growers, to be honest i would recommend using soil with a good nutrient line for starting out soil is alittle more forgiving and dont think hydro is the only way to go soil done right will out product a hydro system done mediocre..as far as nutrient lines go there is no one "best nutrient ling for cannabis feeding is going to be strain dependent and peoples personal opinion. My personal opinion with the two nutrient-lines I like most are advanced nutrients for hydro) https://www.advancednutrients.com/catalog/us/
and the entire roots organic line for soil (including their dirt and coco fiber) http://www.aurorainnovations.org/soil.html Like orision said all the information is out there I recommend doing some heavy research no matter which route you chose.
