I posted these messages on another forum. Haven't had a response from them yet.

    First

Hi, I am new to growing marijuana. I purchased cheese feminized seeds from amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com and they came with free white widow seeds. I also purchased a grow tent from Sunlight Solutions. It came with a hydroponic, light, air circulation setup, a carbon filter, and other stuff. They include device that can read the temperature outside the tent, plus the temperature and humidity inside the tent. On the DVD that came with it, they say I can germinate my seeds in my hydroponic setup. For the media I used Hydroton read clay pellets with organic starter plugs (This came with the tent).

I also purchased a book called " Growing Elite Marijuana" by Ryan Riley. He said during germination no light is involved until the seed sprouts. The humidity should be around 40-60% with the temperature between 70-85F. On day three I was able to keep the temperature between 80-84.5F, this is with air circulating through the tent. By doing that I was able to keep my room and tent warm. It was hard to keep the humidity up too, so I bought one on day 3, this kept the humidity in the tent between 40-60%. Also on day three I got a little curious and wanted to see if anything was happening, so I opened up one of the starter plugs and looked at the seed. I was glad to see a root coming out of the shell, but since I messed up the starter plug, I replaced it with another using tweezers that I dipped in alcohol, then let it dry, to replace the seed. I hope I didn't mess up the seed because I read that it can when you move it from one medium to another.

I don't know whow often I should water the seeds. I've been judging by touching the top of the starter plugs to see if it is dry. I don't know weather the inner part is dry or not. My room light is also green just in case so I don't cause any problems. I know I wrote a lot, but I just want to make sure i paint a good picture of what is going on with me. I would like some advise based off the information I gave. Please help me.

Just read the guide that's given in the forum, I cut the humidifier off and turned on the lights. The tent came with MID lights, MH and HP. Now I have the light on and I turned off the heater.

I am new to growing weed, I posted something in the introduction by accident about my grow area, so anybody can check it out. Basically I'm on the 6 day of growing and I'm using organic starter plugs that the company Sunlight Solutions said I could put straight into the hydroponic set, which I did. I was told in a book that the humidity should be around 40-60% for germination. The seeds did sprout a root because I looked at two of them to see. I don't know if I should have done that because I happened to look at one of the ones I looked at before and found it have not even grown and the sprout looks yellowish. I don't know if all of them are going bad or not. You can tell I'm a noivce, please help

    I don't if I'm heading in a good direction.:biker:

I am not the most experienced with germinating seeds so someone correct me if im rong but disturbing the seedling does not seem like a good idea at all just feel the medium keep track of how often you moisten them feeling the sides you should get a good idea how dry they are(don't drown them } when i first started the thing i did to cause seeds to fail was over-watering, dont let it dry out either now..if you could prescribe how wet you have been keeping them how often you have been spraying them ect maybe i could provide more insight...and in regards to the hid im not sure what wat ballast your using but the seedlings sprouts could get burned due to much light intensity. so after they sprout i recommend having them under your cfls for alittle while(blue spectrum) then when they are a little larger put them under your hm

80-85 is warm for germinating and growing cannabis especially young plants and plants in bloom, 70-75 is the target with 80 being the limit.

So how are those plants doing? By now they should be flowering!

Have you flipped the light from 18 hours a day back to 12 hours on, 12 hours off?
