Put my hopes in with passion
    and open up the floodgates

This life is not a shyness to be treated
    like candlelight in a corner

    Words

    Thoughts Laughter
these are animals we need to be chasing
    Where hesitation is a cage
    emotion is freedom

    So it should be
    without breath
    that we live
    with something
    like violence
    between memory and detail

    Chance
being not necessarily an opponent of certainty
    but rather
an intense opportunity where understanding has waivered

We have to find ourselves there
amidst that battle between will and imagination
between this moment and our own souls
even if it is just to witness
    an idea break upon
    clarity's only shoulder

Loved this. Quite a bit of wisdom here and I resonate. It's interesting to me that each stanza has a slightly different format, it's kind of off beat in that way but it works. Some of the wording and phrasing is elegant, like a dance and that last line gives a great sense of closure.

I love it, but the title bashes my brains in lol

The future can never be owed, that we take every chance to free it for oneanother! ;D
