He'll make millions of dollars and be idolized by scores of stupid Americans. I am not fazed by professional sports players, and sort of despise the emphasis and attention given to them. I won't deny some of them have a real talent and are good at what they do, but that's simply as far as may praise goes when it comes to pro athletes.
I think your mad because they make a ton of money. Well guess what, they work hard and dedicate most of there lives to what they do, even being away from there families for most of the year. This guy is fucking linsane!!!!! All he does is lin!!!! Linsanity is in the air! Im going to be put an a linsane asylum!
I don't give a fuck about them making money, because I simply don't care about money or any of the phony prestige that goes along with it. What bothers me is how much importance is placed on sports when there are other more important things people should be getting riled up about. But that is why sports are a perfect distraction, because it focuses people's attention away from shit that is real and important.... like how they're being fucked. Sports is an opiate of the masses, much like religion and TV. In Rome they called it bread and circuses.
Its funny how the knicks spend millions to get some stars (amare and carmelo) who can't seem to do anything when it comes to 'team' work. The knicks now have the most random guy in all of the NBA as a star. Lol, its basketball karma one way or another.
I reckon there are plenty of players sitting the bench that could break out like Linn has. I haven't seen him play, but like all players--some nights you have 'IT' big-time and some nights you may as well play off handed. Let's see how he does the rest of the season. Carmelo is a me- first player from what I've heard,so whether he'll "allow" Linn to distribute the ball as has been described(13 assists the other night) remains to be seen when he returns. It's typically american with our desires for instant gratification and the sensationalization of everything "new" and happening NOW,that this is even news. And of course he's Chinese,so that's big news. The main reason he's getting the attention,I'm sure. It's nice to see him succeed.
I dont know dude, this guy lived on his brothers couch for awhile..He wasnt a big shot dude like peirce coming into the league..He had to wait for his token
Not really; I remember when paul pierce was at kansas and while he made a splash during his first two years, he fell off quite a bit during his junior year hotwater
