Kegels, are not just for women. Men can do them too, and benefit greatly. Multiple orgasms, more energy after sex, better orgasms, etc. I, personally, can orgasm without squirting a drop. Which can be hilarious when a girl is giving you head, and she has to ask if you are going to come...and you already have. Just curious how many of you gentlemen, and ladies, practice kegels.
I've been doing them for a while even before I knew what they were, because when I was a kid my doctor at the time said it was a good thing to strengthen the muscles in that area and to check it for problems. So I've been doing kegels since I was like 7 or younger, I can't recall my precise age. It wasn't until I was in my teens that I realized what the exercises were called and by then I had discovered other benefits to continuing the kegels. I don't recommend doing them while you pee though, maybe the first few times so you get mental feedback of which muscle groups you are working out but after that don't do the exercises on a full bladder I heard it could lead to piping problems.
Yeah, doing them while you pee can be bad for you. But it's a key way to learn what muscles you need to exercise. Next time you use the restroom, while you are going, stop your stream, and start again. Literally, thats a kegel. Again, usefull to learn how to use them, but a bad time to do it regularly.
So the next natural question is when is the right time to do a kegel during intercourse to prevent premature ejaculation. Do any guys have any input on this? I've heard that it's fine and on the flip side that it's also harmful to use kegels to prevent premature ejaculation. So yeah I'm getting mixed messages on HOW to use kegels.
