so everyone keeps talking about being able to find yourself, finding your inner balance..
i wish i could do that, i don't now how to!
i've been told I'm a hippie, but i really think the term hippie is misused so often!
i wish i could find something that I'm crazily passionate about!
there are so many things i love to do, especially design!
i study design and I'm working on getting my bachelors degree.
i wish i could travel the world, just pack up and leave, but its not that simple for me!
i think society is become worse, more judgmental, controlling and evil. people are being mind controlled, it really is sad. it would be nice to just be able to get away without feeling alone!
so my question is, how can i find myself? i want to be able to know what I'm passionate about, how do i know if I really am a hippie?
and if i am, i want to be able to know more about the lifestyle and the history behind it, i want to be educated about it!
    Peace!

you have been yourself since the day you were born. just continue being and you will do just fine. whether or not you want to describe yourself as a hippie is up to you. in the mean time it never hurts to learn about something, so start reading up on hippie history :)

Do what you like to do, first.
If you're interested in something, pursue it. If it stays interesting great; if it doesn't then try something else that seems appealing. Some things will remain life-long passions, others may last a while and then you move on to something else.
If you think hippie is worth looking into, then read up on it. The true freedom is doing something you like, something worthwhile and not worrying how others define you.
