The End Is The Beginning Is The End (Smashing Pumpkins) Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness (SP) No Quarter (Led Zeppelin)
Shape of Despair - Still-motion Sixteen minutes of Funeral Doom devoid of all positive emotions. Beautiful, with a deep deathgrunt and hypnotising melodies with synth, distant female chanting and lead guitar. My Dying Bride - Sear me III I cried over this song multiple times. Graceful Doom Metal ( though less extreme as Shape of Despair ) with emotional vocals by Aaron Stainthorpe ( God I love this man ) and the most brilliantly saddening melodies ever.
For me It would have to be both Blind Melon alubums; Soup and Nico. Great music but man does it drag me down.

My Morning Jacket - Can You see My Hard Helmet On? Johnny Cash - I hung my head Johnny Cash - When the Man comes around Nirvana - Man who sold the world Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box Then again when you're down damn near every song seems to be on a downbeat.
