Rank the last few years of your life

How have they been in relation to the others, better or worse? For me, I'd say it goes something like:

2012 (so far) > 2011 > 2009 > 2008 > 2005 > 2010 > 2007 > 2006

It's still early in 2012, so it could certainly still change and not for the better, but so far it's been a pretty damn good year for me. 08 and 09 are kind of hard to rank as wholes because they were both very different from beginning to end. But so-so on the whole.

I haven't really had too many terrible years, but 06 was kind of really... bleh. 2010, too; spent most of the year looking forward to 2011 (and turning 21). Though I had many more ups and downs that year. Overall, I think I'd prefer the ups and downs. 2005 was a hard year for me for many reasons, but still I think I was happier than I was in some of the following years.

 

2006 > 2010 > 2005 > 2009 > 2012 > 2007 > 2008 > 2011

So far 2012 has been pretty uneventful for me even slightly off to a rough start but I'm staying optimistic and hoping that its just carry over from last year and things change soon.

2006 is ranked the highest because I was doing well in school, had an awesome girlfriend, steady job, still close with a lot of friends, getting decent on the guitar and really enjoying life. 2010 was a pretty cool year because i graduated college and really my favorite HF years as I was getting to 'know' a lot of cool and interesting people.

2011 wasn't all bad but its ranked the lowest because its in recent memory. It was a very bipolar year and the lows were really low.

2011 > 2008 > 2005 > 2009 > 2006 > 2007 > 2010

 

I'm too high to remember what happened the last 7 years. They were all good man.

every extra year i get is good enough reason to make it better than the one before

 

Life was good up until 2008. From 2008 to 2011 it was hell, things are looking better now but my eyes still show signs of sadness if you are one that believes the eyes look into the soul.

 

Much slower for me since I don't work with my boys much anymore. I really miss the fun I had with them.

 

Going steadily down hill...

 

Things were getting better, but so far 2012 is off to a pretty bad start. I was having a nervous breakdown from 2005-2008 so those would be the worst years.

 

All I remember is 2008-2010 sucking massive donkey balls.


Don't particularly remember why either. Something to do with insane family.

 

Things get better and better here the past few years I'd say were around 8's

 

All equally as bad as each other, and equally as bad as the previous years. Apart from 2010, which was even more dark for me, as that was when my first cat died.

 

I'm not even sure if I could rate more than 3 when sober It's 2012 already?

2005 was the year I graduated and fell in love. This year hasn't sucked too hard so far. 2006, 2009, and 2010 are all fairly unmemorable years, and last year was alright. 2007 was the year I moved out but got my house raided by two DEA wannabes. 2008 was the year my best friend died. I have to say the past two years are honestly the first years I've been genuinely happy and okay with life since high school.

 

2007-2010 ( sucked ) 2012 its my year i'm turning my life around

 

2012> 2011, 2010 & last half of 2009. First part of 2009<2008, 2007 & 2006.

 

2003-2005ish were the worst years so far. I had a lot of issues going on inside and out, but since then I've made a decision to make the best out of anything and not let myself get back into that stage.

A little bit of 2007 was real shitty, but only a couple of months when I moved country, made new friends, etc.

Since then all years are quite equal...
2008 - being underage vs. not having responsibilites
2009 - being 18 + having my own money vs. going to uni (hard )
2010 - family problems vs. quit uni and more job
2011 - identity struggle vs. having great friends

I rate them all the same, take the good with the bad.

 

The last ten years have been a steady 8.5 to 9. Got nothing to complain about.

 

i dont remember. but i do remember 2008 being the best year ever
