I am 23 years old. My son is 5 years old.
He dislikes my mini-skirts. Once when I, my boyfriend, and my son were going to visit our friends, my son refused to go out, because as he said "mum put on too short skirt". Is his reaction normal? How can I explain him that I like mini-skirts? What is the reason of his behavour?

It's because you didn't have your panties on.

he obviously overheard someone he respects that is close to you say negative shit about you and your skirts and now he is parroting them....letting a 5 yr old have a say on your wardrobe is a big mistake

unless he is the most advanced 5 yr old in the fucking universe?... ...it takes years of being a complete fucking twat to dislike mini skirts to the point that you would actually voice concerns over them...there is no way a 5 yr old could formulate an adult thought like that.without adopting it from an older person....my guess is that someone that baby sits the little fucker said something nasty after mom dropped off the kid while she was dolled up.....probably someone fat

Maybe my son heard someone else
saying my skirt is too short. My
boyfriend says: kids often repeat things that they have heard and pick up on strong emotions or tabboo subjects.
But I think the matter is the child jealousy. I began to meet with my boyfriend last june. And my son had
never critisized me before last june.
Firstly he didn't want that I put on
mini-skirt when I met with my boyf
    riend.

He's 5. He's made of ego and id and wonderment.

He is allowed to be jealous

My mom once dated a guy that said he was jealous of all the hugs and kisses she gave my little brother... he was 50, no excuse

I think we can finde compromise.
When I'l go out with BF alone, I'l wear
the shorter skirts. When I'l go out with
my son and boyfriend, I'l wear som
ething different. And when I'l go out
with my son alone, I'l wear either mini or something else, because my son does
n't care what I wear if I am not with
    my BF.

Haha I thought this thread was about Moms and their daughters wearing miniskirts as My Mum used to give me an awful hard time about my short skirts when I was a teenager, she used to do a panties check too and always insisted I put some on! (not that they stayed on too long though...)

The fact that it's your son: You're his Mom and you're the boss. You can't give in to him on this or you'll just make trouble for yourself. And if he's picking anything up from anyone else, it's probably his friend's Moms who are just jealous of you! You just need to tell him that there's nothing wrong with mini-skirts and in any case he doesn't get to tell you what to wear.

.she is allowed as many fucking threads as she wants and you pointing out perceived mirror threads in error is part of what drives away new members...i am tajking it upon myself to make new members more welcome as per the site owners wishes....if you can t bring yourself to do the same i suggest you look for my posts pointing out your lack of manners

    what is your point?

....did this new member somehow upset you because of her other thread...are you trying to be funny?

yes i do....moms are often jealous of other moms and take every oppurtunity to point out their misconceptions and prejudices.....judging by the picture they have much to be jealous of...you are very attractive...

come and say hello in the stoners lounge chat thread

That would be my best guess. His friends are the same age and wouldn't notice such things which means he likely heard it from an adult and adult males tend to appreciate short skirted females. I can't imagine he heard negative comments about your skirts from men which means it's more likely to come from the Moms.

But may be my son's friends Farthers said something that children couldn't understand right. Something about skirts or legs that was vulgar or lustfull?

It's possible but I doubt it. A four or five year old is not really going to pick up on the distinction between vulgar/lustful and ordinarily appreciative comments. I don't think they would get the sense that there's anything demeaning about such comments. On the other hand any comments from jealous bitches would be quite obvious to a boy that age. Plus, it's the Moms who are more likely to be gossiping about it in the first place. The Dads are unlikely to say anything at all and just enjoy the view in silence. I have never ever heard of a man saying anything about how slutty my clothes were (except directly to me as a compliment!) but I've lost count of how many times I've overheard bitches who thought it their place to make sneaky snarky comments.

My ex said when he watched me going with my bf that I had put on slutty skirt. But year before he had considered the same skirt very nice.

Just becuase a 5 year old cant communicate all that properly doesnt mean his little brain isnt ticking over faster than average.

Given the OPs height, I'd also like to point out at 5 little dude is probably just the right height to be at eye level. Mommy needs longer skirts so that when he clings to her leg he doesnt get a face full of that which he shouldnt.

I predict therapy in his future, either that the entire Kylie Minougue back catalogue
