Just because you smoke weed, doesn`t mean you`re a hippy.

I agree 100%, I smoke weed myself and I do consider myself a Hippy but not because of weed, because of my thoughts and beliefs.

Hi there!! I was raised by hippies ((my mother and maternal grandparents anyway. My dad's side is the complete opposite but I hardly see them)) and have always felt this way.. I know about 15 "hippies" around our age and I can only call about 4 of them true.. I personally think that if someone wants to call themselves a hippie then they have every right to do so but just smoking weed and dressing like a hippie doesnt make you one just like standing in the garage and saying youre a car doesnt make you a car. Besides, one of the 4 I can call true doesnt even smoke weed anymore!! It really is way more than just "sex, drugs & rock 'n roll" and I honestly feel that is the ones who all they do is dress like a hippie and smoke weed who give true hippies who actually stand up for what they believe in and really try to make a difference a bad name... Like I always say.. There is a difference between hippies and stoners.......

Anyways... I would also like to have good conversation with another like minded individual so.. Hey hows it goin? :sunny:

 

Very true, I was called a weed smoking hippie, when I generally look mainstream or even punk occasionally, and I find that offensive to the true hippies out there, I respect them and their ways of life, (with and without weed) but I am not a hippie and hate when people stereotype hippies (generally good people), to be anyone who smokes weed or any other psychadelics and etc.

 

hmm, i've assisted fewgreenpeace manifestation against tar sand, shit gaz and you don't know how old i am becase you'l be amaze . BTW my parent were not hippy, they are mainstream fucking worker who said that living in a vw issnt a life option , i say YES! (that's why they've put me in foster family) and im pretty straight , i smoke ganja about 4-5 time per 14 day. i don't really wear like hippy but my mind is open to everything.
