My 22 Year Old Cat Liam, Passed On, Half An Hour Ago, At The Age Of 22 And 5 Months. He Has Been Sick For A Few Weeks Now With Slow Kidney Failure. Climbed Onto My Lap And Gave Me His Trademark Hug And Neck Nuzzle, Minutes Later He Died Peacefully In My Arms.... He Had A Most Wonderful Life Here On Earth, And I'm Sure He Will Be Welcomed With Open Paws In Cat Heaven. My Life Just Won't Be The Same Without You Buddy, RIP My Wonderful Old Mate, RIP...:bigcry: Tears Glen.
sorry that this happened. I've never even heard of a cat living that long before. Sounds like you gave him as long and happy a life as a cat could have. Losing a pet is like losing a member of your family
I'm so sorry to hear that Glen . It always hurts so when our family members pass . At 22 to have lived that long is So wonderful . It shows how much he was loved . I have one that's 19 , and I suspect his kidneys are begining to fail too. It's never easy . R.I.P. Liam . He will be waiting for you , in the happy hunting ground . Sounds like he lived a wonderful happy life . And he loves you very much. :grouphug:
Sorry to hear that, Glen... It's good he got to pass with the one he trusted for so long. You did good.
Cats don't die you know, they just leave thier body behind. He is with you in spirit You must have loved him very much for him to have stayed around for so long. Don't feel sad: you have now got a little mate on the other side.
Sorry for your loss. My cat will be waiting for Liam, I am sure they will be great friends! At least you got to see yours off on its journey
It's wonderful that he was able to spend his last moment's with you. It shows how much he must have cared for you. He must have known that it was about to happen. I'm so sorry for your loss! My own little man is sleeping at the moment I couldn't imagine not having him around.
I am so very sorry for your loss, GLEN. That he lived so long, and had a sweet, peaceful death in your arms says much - to me, anyway. He apparently had a wonderful life with you, and for him to go in your arms, and peacefully at that...well, I believe he would want you to know that if you close your eyes and remember him, you can know he is close by. He'll be there waiting for you when you cross that bridge...at least that is what I think...right along with any other animal-companions you've loved through your life.
Sorry for your loss Glen . It terrible to lose a pet , they are part of us especially after 22 years . Journey well Liam . Strongs to you Glen
Thank You Everybody, Even Though I Had Ample Warning As To What Was Inevitable, It Totally Devastated Me, 9 Hours Have Passed And I'm Feeling Much Better, And I Will Send A "Thank You" PM To Each Of You.... Thank You All Once Again, Your Replies Have Meant So Much To Me.... Cheers Glen.
