I dig these guys too, the lead singer voice is so folk and soul at the same time...it's like you feel them more so than hear them. Also the instrumentation is so old timey and folk, gotta love it. Also caught me off guard that they are british :/ go figure lol Little Lion Man and The Cave, my current faves - btw these guys are perfect road trip music
they are perfect for a roadtrip! yeah when im in the mood for somereal deep music i listen to them, they have very meaningful lyrics. i like the lyric " in these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die, where you invest your love, you invest your life.
I saw them performing live, and they truly are one of the "most real" acts around. They sound just as good live as in the studio.
I enjoy that the band has that kind of methodical, kind of dreamy/haunting vibe to their music, its kind of hard to describe. Also their music always seems to tell a story and is reminiscnent in some ways to other story telling artist like Dylan and Neil Young...I really like the song I think it is called "Little Lion Man" Folk Music Instruments
They have some neat songs and videos..... They seem to be great songwriters, who totally know how to write songs that they can play with absolutely NO talent....
