Sup guys. So for a while now i've been doing a ton of research on my tolerance, even "testing" some things when i take opiates(length of high/intensity etc.). First let me say I'm open to any advice on managing tolerance to keep the pill/high ratio at it's prime. Mainly though i'm curious for an answer concerning whether or not tolerance to one opiate transfers to other opiates. It would make sense if it did, but i know that some are barely related and act on the opiod receptors differently. Also a weird thing happened to me just a couple days ago, first i'll explain the situation so you'll see why it was weird. Now i've read a lot of the horror stories of being addicted to pills, especially oxys, including ones about a guy IVing 500mg (so he claims, but i guess it's possible) a day. I only take one 15mg oxy once or twice a week and that's plenty for me: I don't wanna ruin the high (not to mention my bank account) and it takes me to such a warm place it almost seems ungrateful to abuse it after all it's done for me, as strange as that sounds. Sometimes i go on binges for 4 or 5 days taking two percs or vics when i wake up everyday. Though i havent taken anything with hydrocodone in it for awhile. The weird thing was that after just a couple days of taking two 15mg oxys in a row, i got my hands on two 5mg vics, i took them expecting just a mild buzz. What it turned into was a full blown high even complete with a couple moments of nodding. So, does tolerance really transfer from opiate to opiate?
It absolutly dose. Ime you should have almost 0 tolerance only doing 30mg a week. If you do it mulitiple day in a row is when tolerance starts. at your rate you should be able to enjoy opies for a while. But being an opi addict my self I would recommend never using more than once a week or it will lose its magic fast. Be safe 500mg a day is possible. Trust me I use to eat/snort 4~8 80mg pills every day. Im going on 2 years clean now. They were fun once a week. But ime that only lasts so long. Have fun and be safe.
